Agroquímica Braido has a vocation for modernity and improvement, so much so that, as a newcomer, it sought expertise in Europe to extract a greater range of beef by-products, while most companies in the sector restricted their production to cleaning items.
In 1955, it inaugurated the production of bovine glue, which gave a strong impulse to the furniture industry in the country. The next step took place in the 60s and was even more audacious and promising: acquisition of technology to manufacture fatty, oleic, stearic acids, glycerin and meat and bone meal.
These products were being improved with the introduction of granulation processes (stearic acid gained the format that the industry demanded), distillation (this increased the purity of glycerin to pharmaceutical levels) and hydrogenation. Certainly, this connection between Agroquímica Braido and the new is the key to maintaining its position as one of the most active in the sector.
